Funeral services for Lola (Keeton) Griffin will be held at the Maranatha Baptist Church, Monday, February 15, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. with Charles Bishop officiating. Lola (Keeton) Griffin age 98 passed away peacefully in Villa Park, Illinois on February 9, 2016. She was formerly from Chickasha, Oklahoma. Lola was born August 19, 1917 in Anutt, Missouri to the late Elva and Opal (Heavin) Keeton. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Cecil Griffin, whom she married on March 28, 1936; they had an inseparable marriage for 74 years. She was the loving mother of Tomi (Bob) Marinier and Gwen (Tom) Smith and the cherished grandmother of Jason (Kim) Marinier, Jeremy (Tasha) Marinier, Keith (Sue) Smith, Chris (Jodie) Smith, Tim (Amy) Smith and Sally Patton. She has thirteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Lee (Arlene) Keeton, Kenny Keeton, Bobby Keeton, Ed Keeton and Lois (Jim) Morris. She will be greatly missed by her beloved sister Betty (Keeton) Heald and many nieces and nephews. Lola was always active in her church homes, enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking her special chicken and noodles for all. Lola and Cecil participated in the Senior Olympics for many years, bring home many medals. They always had horses and bred show winning quarter horses spending many hours training and showing. She will be missed by many loving friends in Eureka, Kansas, Bridgeport, Illinois and Chickasha, Oklahoma. She lived a full life with a smile, devotion to her family and friends and is welcomed into the Lords arms to reunite with her loved ones. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marantha Baptist Church, 1505 S. 29th Street, Chickasha, Oklahoma. Viewing for Lola (Keeton) Griffin will be at Ferguson Funeral Home, 804 Utah, Chickasha, Oklahoma on Saturday, February 13, from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 1:00 to 7:00 pm. Interment, immediately following the services, will be in Cement Cemetery located at Cement, Oklahoma and are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. Sharon Marie (Morris) Sturgeon 1953-2016

Graveside services for Sharon Sturgeon, 62, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Pioneer Cemetery with Sister Alice Wendling officiating.

Sharon Sturgeon was born on June 16, 1953 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Elijah "Jr." Coy Morris and Edna Marie (Hill) Morris. She died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

She attended school at Friend Public School and Am-Po Public School.

In 1970, she married Robert Alcorn and to this union her three daughters were born.

She moved to Oakwood, Oklahoma in 1987 and met Wilburn Sturgeon and they were together until his death in 2000.

Sharon enjoyed working in her yard, bowling, sewing, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elijah Coy Morris, a brother, Dale Morris and a sister, Carolyn Williams.

She is survived by her mother, Edna Marie Morris and special friend, J. T. Burns; brother, Ronnie Morris, and his wife, Dianna; brother-in-law, Felix Williams; three daughters, Tracey Harris and her husband, Bobby, Mandy McCarney and Denice Mullin and her husband, Rick; grandchildren, Timothy Warren Harris, Tacie Mishea Wooton, Shealon Waye Wooton, James Donovon Mullin, Robin Joy Schimmel, Rebecca Jinece Mullin, Justin Dale Mullin, Spencer Scott McCarney, China Jo McCarney, Alan Wade Baker and Keyle Ray Baker; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Paige Harris, Kenzie Nicole Harris, Taylor Jordan Harris, Izabella Selene Mendoza, Urijah Ramon Mendoza, Mylee Kay Schimmel, Kimberlynn Grace Osmond, Madilynn Marie Mullin, and Elizabeth Jade McBride; and other extended family and friends.

Services and interment are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

WILMA D. COX 1925 - 2016

Funeral service for Wilma D. Cox of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, February 15, 2016 in the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel.

Wilma D. Cox was born March 9, 1925 in Chickasha, OK to Luther C. and Ruby E. (Elston) Cox. She died Thursday, February 11, 2016 in Chickasha at the age of 90.

She graduated from Ninnekah High School in 1943 and continued her education at Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, graduating in 1947. She received her Masters of Education from the University of Oklahoma.

Wilma taught Junior High English and Speech for several years for the Chickasha Public School system prior to her appointment as Curriculum Coordinator and Director of Special Education. She retired from the Chickasha School system in 1986.

Wilma was very active in the community, serving as President of the Retired Teachers Association, President and board member of the Grady County Historical Society as well as a member of the Saint Luke's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed traveling across the U.S., Canada and Europe and loved to socialize with her friends. Wilma was a special person who always shared a warm smile and a quick wit with everyone she met.

She was a special mentor to many of her Nieces and Nephews, providing insight and direction for their careers and life.

She is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers: Boyd, Bill, Ben and Elmer Cox; and a sister, Carmen Cox.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
